The love of the wild outdoors and the natural beauty around me all started from a very early age. I was fortunate enough to be brought up in North Norfolk and spent many hours on my bike exploring.
I always wanted to record my findings and my parents encouraged this and when i started High School they bought me my very first camera.
Now I had a new passion and cycled all over Norfolk photographing the wild outdoors, goodness knows how much the film and the constant film processing cost my parents.
My first image was published in his early 20’s and other publications followed. In later years I started to cover Wildlife crime for various publications, from national to local newspapers plus other publications including for the RSPCA, I also used to cover events for Cage and Avery and Farmers weekly.
Some of the Wildlife crime I covered over the years was taking its toll on me, I realised its the Wild Outdoors I loved, the seeing and reporting of mistreatment and cruelty to Wildlife I found incredibly stressful so after much thought and consideration we as a family decided for a better way of life and moved up to the Highlands of Scotland, here my passion was rekindled. In 2016 moved down to the Scottish Borders.
During the first lockdown I had more time on my hands so started to learn printing on slate and other materials, now I do all my own printing from Slate to large Prints.
